¿Qué papel juegan WIT y ICC en el proceso de hacer discipuladores?
En el gráfico arriba mostramos dos dimensiones de la vida del discipulador: adoración y obediencia. La dimensión de adoración incluye la relación personal y la congregacional. Les llamamos también comunión y celebración. La comunión es nuestro tiempo privado de oración y adoración. La celebración es la expresión de nuestra alabanza a Dios por sus virtudes y por sus hechos como congregación. Aquí en Calvary los experimentamos cada domingo.
La dimensión de la obediencia incluye comunidad y contabilidad. La comunidad es nuestra familia extendida en misión. Para muchos este es su Grupo de Conexión. Para otros es su Grupo de Vida o algún otro grupo en el hogar.
La contabilidad usualmente se lleva acabo en un círculo de aprendizaje, o sea un grupo pequeño de personas que nos conocen bien, no animan, apoyan y con quienes podemos tener una contabilidad mutua.
Sin embargo, la contabilidad también sucede en forma de capacitación y de desarrollo personal y espiritual. Allí es donde WIT y ICC entran. WIT es el programa para damas en nuestra iglesia que ayuda a capacitar a líderes siervas proveyendo desarrollo personal y espiritual para la misión. ICC (Instituto de Capacitación Calvary) es el program los miércoles en la noche que ofrece oportunidades para el crecimiento espiritual y para la capacitación de líderes.
Mientras la Celebración (adoración congregacional) y la Comunidad (GDC o grupos en casas) son semanales y continuan todo el año, WIT y ICC ofrecen cursos de término corto y eventos periódicos que ayudan a fortalecer la base de líderes-siervos en Calvary.
Al principiar el nuevo semestre hoy espero que aproveches estas oportunidades.

What role do WIT, FCM and EQUIP play in the Disciple Making process at Calvary?
In the graphic above we show two dimensions of the disciple makers life: worship and obedience. The dimension of worship includes the personal and the congregational relationship. We call those abiding and gathering. The abiding is our private time of prayer and worship. The gathering is the celebration of God's attributes and deeds with the congregation. For us this usually happens every Sunday morning.
The dimension of obedience includes the community and the sharpening relationships. Community is our extended family on mission. For many this is their ABF. For others it might be a home group. The sharpening aspect may happen in a huddle, a small group of support and accountability.
However, sharpening also happens in the way of training, personal and spiritual development. That is where WIT, FCM and EQUIP come in. WIT (Women in Touch) is the program for women in our church that helps to train servant leaders providing personal and spiritual development for the mission. FCM (Fellowship of Calvary Men) is the program for men that provides inspiration, encouragement and training. EQUIP is the Wednesday night program that offers opportunities for spiritual growth and development as well as leadership training.
While the Gathering (congregational worship) and the Community (ABF or home group) aspects are weekly on going year round, WIT, FCM and EQUIP are either short-term courses or periodic events that help to strengthen the servant-leader base at Calvary.
